Why work for us?
We are transforming how we market the Motorpoint Arena and National Ice Centre and are looking for progressive and creative marketing professionals to join us on the journey - might that be you?
We are a vibrant, 10,000 capacity live entertainment venue in the heart of Nottingham that for 25 years has hosted world-class shows across music, comedy, family, arts, and sports. We are now the sixth most popular entertainment arena in the UK, From Kylie to Peter Kay, to Disney, to Panthers ice hockey and Forest Netball - no two days are the same.
Our sister venue is the National Ice Centre, where our community comes together for ice sports across figure, synchro, speed skating, and ice hockey. Whether you're a family enjoying skating for fun, or a budding professional gliding in the footsteps of our local heroes Torvill and Dean, we provide the UK's best ice sports experience.
Our purpose is to create joyful experiences. Our marketing team is responsible for engaging with our one million visitors from the start to the end of their experience with our venues, encouraging them to visit again, and finding new audiences to enjoy our shows and events.
What will you be doing?
This is a rare opportunity to manage our Event Marketing function, whose primary purpose is to generate ticket sales for the Motorpoint Arena and footfall to the National Ice Centre (NIC).
Your specific responsibilities can be summarised as follows:
Event Marketing plan: Working with the Head of Marketing & Communications to produce a measurable and annual Event Marketing plan across all owned, paid-for, and earned assets - including paid-for digital, e-mail, social media, SMS, SEO, app, website, digital screens, traditional media, PR etc.

We're a nimble, streamlined team who thrive on working in a high-pressure live events environment, often working to short deadlines and at unsociable hours. We work in an exciting and high-profile industry, but it is not all glamour. Having a passion for music and entertainment would be beneficial
