WHO WE ARE?
We are the Motorpoint Arena & National Ice Centre, Nottingham. The largest entertainment venue in the East Midlands and home to the Nottingham Panthers. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
The Senior HR Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our team of HR Administrators; ensuring that all HR administration including onboarding, salary reviews, recruitment, amendments and queries are completed and responded to in a timely manner with a high focus on accuracy and quality of information being shared.
With experience of working as an HR Administrator in a high volume HR Admin role, you will be a people person with the ability to build strong relationships with our team, our staff and our external contacts.
You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to deal with staff in a positive manner.
With strong organisational skills, you will be able to manage your own workload and those of your team, prioritising and managing their time effectively.
The ideal candidate will also be comfortable assisting the Head of HR and HR Advisor in the creation of our monthly payroll.
WHAT ARE THE KEY DUTIES?
- Ensuring that HR Admin work is carried out to a high standard and to agreed timescales
- Liaising with line managers in relation to their HR needs, being the first line of support for all HR Admin queries
- Providing confidential admin support and ensuring the HR System is up-to-date and accurate
- Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring RTW checks are carried out and all documentation is received and completed. This will include supporting the HR Administrators with any questions they may have around RTW checks as well as attending careers fairs.
- Making amendments to terms & conditions as necessary, ensuring that all changes comply with employment law
- Scheduling disciplinary, grievance and investigation meetings, issuing invite letters and taking accurate meeting notes
- Management of HR inbox, delegating tasks and ensuring all emails are responded to promptly
- Managing the working hours and holiday requests for the HR Admin team as well as carrying our regular 1-2-1 and team meetings
Flexibility is key due to the needs of our business, you may on occasion need to work late nights, weekends or Bank Holidays if HR support is required for an event.
