National Merchandise, a division of the Nottingham Ice Centre Limited, work in some of the UK’s biggest venues, the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, The O2 London, AO Manchester, OVO Hydro Glasgow, M&S Bank Liverpool, 3 Arena Dublin and SSE Arena Belfast to name a few.
Last year we welcomed National Merchandise (Sweden) AB to the family, working in the Strawberry Arena (previously the Friends Arena), Tele2 Arena, Hovet Arena, Avicii Arena and the Annexet.
In addition to the work we do in venues we also work with some of the biggest non-venue and festival organisers in the world bringing merchandise to music and entertainment fans at events that include Download, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Isle of Wight, British Summer Time, Glastonbury, Camp Bestival, Electric Picnic, Leeds & Reading festivals and many more.
We are looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to work within our Merchandise Warehouse in Ballyclare supporting the commercial team, with the maintenance and movement of equipment and stock between sites.
The Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for completing tasks in the warehouse which include:
- Equipment inventory checks - advising the Area Manager of equipment that needs replacing or upgrading to ensure it meets H&S standards
- Booking of rental vehicles needed for movement of equipment for events
- Assisting the Area Manager with the ordering of new equipment
- Maintaining First Aid supplies and kits. Reordering supplies when needed
- Ability to produce logistics schedules for movement of vehicles and equipment during the exceptionally busy outdoor/festival period
- Movement and maintenance of the Merchandise trailer to ensure it meets H&S requirements and is road worthy. Reporting any work that needs to be carried out to the Area Manager
- Loading vans with equipment and stock
- Arranging disposal of refuse
- Assisting with simple DIY tasks for creating festival props
- Attending festivals to assist with the set up of merchandise stands and pop-up shops
The Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor will help maintain the warehouse as a safe and practical working environment, reporting any issues that need addressing to the Area Manager.
What we are looking for:
Essential
- Previous experience of working within a warehouse and experience of stockroom management
- Previous experience of working on festival/outdoor concert sites
- Hold minimum Category B Licence with access to own vehicle
- Experience of driving larger vehicles e.g. Luton vans
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to use initiative and work as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong numeracy skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- Holder of Category B+E Licence
- Experience with basic DIY
The Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor will be flexible with working hours to accommodate the dynamic and evolving requirements of the business.
